Daniel Laufs (M.Sc.) studied business chemistry with a focus on technology management and controlling as well as inorganic chemistry at the Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel. During his studies at City University of Hong Kong he deepened his studies through the combination of the subjects environmental management and sustainability. As part of his studies, he completed an internship at 3M Germany as Market Analyst in the European energy sector. During his Master's thesis, he dealt with the innovativeness of German energy supply companies and the influence of the corporate structure. Since June 2017, Daniel Laufs is working as a research assistant at the Chair of Technology Management in the research area of cross-industry innovations. Above all, he focusses on the analysis of knowledge and research convergences of technology networks and the determination of critical success factors.

Further responsibilities:

  •  Since 08/2017, Daniel Laufs is the Coordinator of the International Office and  supervises foreign exchange students of the Institute of Business Administration.
